Folk Dance Labo ＜26＞ Bon Dancing in Sendai Area

Bon Odori is the equivalent of Japanese folk dance, and in 2023 we plan to introduce about 10 Bon Odori songs, mainly popular songs from the Tohoku region.
Following April, we have designated July as Bon Dance Month.
This time, we will introduce three songs that are often danced at Bon Odori in the Sendai area,
This time, we will focus on three songs commonly danced at Bon dances in the Sendai area: "Tanabata Odori", "Miyagino Bon Uta", and "Souma Bon Uta".
The Tanabata Odori, Miyagino Bon Uta, and Soma Bon Uta will be held on August 7 (Mon.) at the Sendai Ryokusaikan site.
This event will also serve as an advance practice for the "Tanabata Bon Dance" to be held on August 7 (Mon.) at the Sendai Ryokusaikan site.
No advance registration is required. Please come directly to the venue on the day.


Venue: Aoba-no-Kaze Terrace, 2F, Kokusai Center Station, Sendai City Subway Tozai Line
Fee: ￥500 for adults, ￥200 for foreigners and students.
　　　　Those who are very late for work are also 200 yen.
